Coffee Traders Limited (CTL) is a fully integrated, coffee company that was established in 2003 by the Sharp family. The company’s core product is the world-famous specialty coffee – Jamaica Blue Mountain (JBM), grown in a specially designated area in the Blue Mountains in Jamaica. JBM is well loved for its xquisite balance of aroma, body and acidity, and mellow, sweet aftertaste.
CTL processes and exports green bean coffee to traders/roasters in Asia, USA, Europe, and UK. Our primary brands for export are Clydesdale and Clifton Mount single estate. CTL’s client list includes Ataka Trading Coffee, UCC, and Wataru Trading Company, with the roasted product ultimately being sold in highend department chain stores and coffee shops around the world such as Starbucks Reserve cafes, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, and Fortnum & Mason (UK).
CTL is also the largest coffee-roaster in the English-speaking Caribbean. We roast and package 100% JBM and JBM Blends utilizing stringent quality standards as per SQF certification. We roast under our own brands and as well as brands for our clients.
