A delegation from the Jamaica Coffee Exporters Association, JCEA, led by its Chairman Mr. Norman Grant will attend the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan Coffee Exposition, September 25 – 28, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.

The Jamaica Coffee Exporters Association booth at the SCAJ Exposition will provide both tasting and promotional opportunities for the Jamaica High Mountain and Jamaica Blue Mountain coffees. The delegation will also participate in meetings of the Jamaica Coffee Exporters Association, Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA) and the Japan Importers Association of Jamaican Coffee. Jamaica’s Ambassador to Japan, Ambassador Allicock will also be present. Discussions will also take place in relation to the inaugural celebration of Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Day in Jamaica on January 9, 2019.

Jamaica Coffee Exporters Association Chairman Grant said representatives from the Jamaica Coffee Growers Association were invited to participate in an effort to improve the knowledge of the coffee growers about how the market functions. (END)
